About the Holiday House Tour
The New Canaan Holiday House tour is a biennial charity event run by the Newcomers Club of New Canaan. The mission of the Holiday House Tour is to give back to the community by supporting local 501(c) (3) charities and service organizations that are either based in New Canaan or serve the town’s residents. All proceeds are donated through our partnership with the New Canaan Community Foundation, with over $500,000 awarded to date.
This time-honored tradition features six exquisite New Canaan homes, each paired with an interior designer and decorated for the holidays with the help of volunteers, local trades, and vendors. Guests are invited on a self-guided tour of these stunning homes, with a variety of ticketing options and tour experiences available. This year we are also delighted to announce that we will be hosting a very special post tour VIP event, featuring a number of prominent members of the design community with more surprises and details to be revealed soon!
Our 2025 tour will be held on Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th from 10AM-3PM, and will mark our 30th tour since it all began.
We are thrilled to announce that our 2023 tour was a record breaking year, with over $116,000 in grants awarded. Recent grant recipients include organizations such as: Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Filling in the Blanks, Friends of Waveny Playground, Kids In Crisis, Person-to-Person, Planet New Canaan, and STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way, among others.

Since 1957, the Newcomers Club of New Canaan has been dedicated to helping new residents connect with each other & get involved in our wonderful community.
